Top Bollywood Movies to see in 2011
Hey Fellas! 2010 is on the verge of ending its journey and to show us a new beginning. As the current ending year showed us many good and bad experiences in the Bollywood Industry, hope the upcoming year brings a lot of good and a less bad experience to all. Many movies gone on the top, many gone below margin and many stayed in the middle in 2010. So here I am to present a list of top 10 movies which I think will bedoing good in the upcoming year 2011.
No One Killed Jessica No One Killed Jessica is an upcoming Hindi film starring Vidya Balan and Rani Mukerji, produced by UTV Spotboy and directed by Rajkumar Gupta, who had earlier directed the acclaimed film Aamir (2008). The political thriller, set in New Delhi, was believed to be based on the controversial Jessica Lal murder case. However, later, the director clarified that the title and the script are actually inspired by a headline carried out by The Times Of India in 2006, when the accused in the infamous murder case were acquitted by the lower courts, leading to nationwide protests, reopening of the case and subsequent sentencing of the accused, and not the case per se.
Dhobi Ghat
Dhobi Ghat is a Hindi film produced and directed by Kiran Rao in her directorial debut. The film is scheduled for release in cinemas on 21 January 2011. The film stars Aamir Khan and Prateek Babbar and is produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions. Aamir Khan plays one of the lead role in the movie as a painter. Monica Dogra(Shai) as Indian American banker who is on visit to Mumbai. Prateek Babbar(Munna) as washerboy. Kriti Malhotra(Yasmin). The movie is about these four characters from different class of society and how the lives of four characters are interwined.
Game
Game is an upcoming Hindi film directed by Abhinay Deo and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment.[1] This film's title was changed from Crooked to the new permanent title of Game by the producers at Excel Entertainment. It stars Abhishek Bachchan, Sarah-Jane Dias, Kangna Ranaut, Boman Irani, and Jimmy Shergill among others. The film is an stylish action thriller and is set to be shot at locations in Mumbai, Greece, Istanbul, London, and Thailand. The film is said to be in the same type of genre as the Bourne Identity trilogy.
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is an upcoming Hindi film, directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment. It will star Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar, Sam Shields, Clark Williams and Jake Milne. The female roles are played by Kalki Koechlin and Katrina Kaif where the latter is said to be paired with Hrithik Roshan. The music will be composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy. The film is scheduled to release on May 27, 2011.
Don 2 – The Chase Continues
Don 2: The Chase Continues is an upcoming Hindi action thriller film directed by Farhan Akhtar. It is the sequel to the 2006 film, Don: The Chase Begins Again, which itself is a remake of the 1978 film Don. The film stars Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani and Om Puri, reprising their roles from the previous film, with Lara Dutta and Kunal Kapoor playing new characters. Hrithik Roshan will be seen doing a cameo appearance in the film.
Patiala House Patiala House is an upcoming Bollywood Family Drama / Sports film being directed by Nikhil Advani and starring Akshay Kumar and Anushka Sharma. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Mukesh Talreja, and Krishan Kumar under the banner of 'People Tree Films Pvt. Ltd.' and 'Credence Motion Picture'. The film will release on 11 February 2011. Theatrical trailer of the movie will be premiered with Farah Khan's Tees Maar Khan on December 24, 2010. In this film Akshay Plays a Fast Bowler.
Mausam
Mausam (English: Season) is an upcoming Hindi language film directed and written by Pankaj Kapoor under the Vistaar Religare Film Fund banner. The film stars Shahid Kapoor opposite Sonam Kapoor along with Pankaj Kapoor. The film will mark the first time that Shahid Kapoor has been in a movie opposite his father, Pankaj Kapoor. It is also Pankaj Kapoor's directorial debut film. Over the months, Shahid Kapoor has been looking for an actress to star opposite him in the film. He was eager on getting Katrina Kaif to be a part of the film. Kareena Kapoor was another option for Kapoor to choose. In February 2010, Pankaj Kapoor decided that Sonam Kapoor would be featured opposite Shahid Kapoor.
Ra.One
Ra. One (also known as Ra.1) is an upcoming Hindi science-fiction superhero film directed by Anubhav Sinha. The film, which features Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal, will be produced under Khan's production company, Red Chillies Entertainment. According to Khan, "Ra.One" means "Random Access - Version 1.0". The film was scheduled to be released on 3 June 2011, but was later pushed back due to extensive post production work.
Agent Vinod
Agent Vinod is an upcoming Hindi action-thriller film starring Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the project is a not a remake of the 1977 action film Agent Vinod, which was directed by Deepak Bahry. Agent Vinod is expected to release in May 2011.
Partner 2
Partner 2 is an upcoming Bollywood romantic comedy film and a sequel to the 2007 film Partner, which was inspired from the 2005 Hollywood film Hitch.[1] Like the first installment, the sequel will also be directed by David Dhawan and will star Salman Khan and Govinda in their roles from the first film. Sanjay Dutt was also confirmed to be a part of the sequel.[2] The film is expected to start shooting in February 2011.
